The Seale Bolthole

Our caravan

Our static caravan is located in the charming village of St. Helen's, on the northeast coast of the Isle of Wight, near Bembridge. It's situated within the Away Resorts St. Helen's coastal site, right in the heart of the village and just a short stroll from the beach.

The caravan comfortably sleeps six, with one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms (each with two standard caravan single beds). There's a family bathroom with a shower, and the master bedroom also has an en-suite toilet. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area is spacious and airy, flowing seamlessly onto a generously sized decking – perfect for enjoying the island sunshine. For cooler evenings, the caravan is equipped with full central heating.

The Away Resorts site offers a heated outdoor pool, open from April through the end of the summer holidays, providing a refreshing escape on warm days. A children's playground is located near the site office, away from the accommodation. For added convenience, a laundry room is also available on site. You can find more details about the park itself on the Away Resorts website: www.awayresorts.co.uk/parks/isle-of-wight/st-helens/

St. Helen's village boasts a friendly local pub and two other dining options. A well-stocked convenience store provides all the essentials, including fresh bread, and also houses a post office.

The beautiful Duver (a National Trust area) and the beach are easily accessible from the village. You can reach them via a pleasant walk through the village and along a quiet road, or via a causeway that crosses the estuary. The beach itself is a mixture of sand and shingle, with shallow waters perfect for paddling and a fantastic spot for crabbing. Here you'll also find the Baywatch cafe, a water-sports centre, and an art gallery. When the tide is low, you can walk around the headland to the secluded Priory Bay, also known as "The Secret Beach."

The local beach is a great spot to people watch, wander and have a bite to eat. There is a water sports centre located at the entrance of the marina. During the holidays they have a 'pop up' centre located on the beach where you can hire kayaks and paddle boards.
