Getting There

The closest car ferry terminal is Fishbourne. The caravan is about a 20 minute drive from here. The crossing is Portsmouth to Fishbourne. Alternatively you can travel from Southampton to Cowes. There are also some good passenger ferry options into Ryde. Please contact us before booking your ferry, we may be able to get you a discount.

The address is

St. Helen's Coastal Resort
Field Lane
St. Helen's
Ryde PO33 1UX

Coming from Ryde, before you enter the village of St. Helen's there is a turning off on the left which takes you through a housing estate. The entrance is just past the housing estate and is clearly sign posted.

The keys are in a lock box by the entrance to the caravan. The code will be provided to you before your arrival.

Other useful information

  • Most of the parking on the Island can be purchased through the Paybyphone App. If you think you will be driving around you may want to consider purchasing day/ week passes via the app which allows you to park anywhere (except 3 car parks) on the Island. The location to enter is 71000.
  • If you are National Trust members, be sure to bring your membership card. This can be used in a number of car parks for example Compton Bay and The Duver.
  • Book your ferries early as they can get very expensive during the holidays.
  • There is a Facebook group 'Love The Isle of Wight' which is often full of places to visit, tips or stunning photos to 'wet your appetite'.
  • Bring water shoes as there are pebbles on many beaches.
  • Dogs are allowed, but please keep them off the furniture. They must be on leads throughout the caravan park.
